Kelly LeValley Hunt

Biography

Kelly LeValley Hunt is the founder and CEO of Pearl River Venture Capital fund, which she launched in 2020. The fund focuses on early-stage blockchain, cryptocurrency and tech companies that support the growth of decentralized technologies. Kelly is also the founder and CEO of Mint Gold Dust, a software platform that facilitates the use of blockchain technology in the creative industry.

In 2017, Kelly joined BlockApps as Global Vice President of Sales where she facilitated partnerships with Microsoft, AWS, Google and Red Hat. She was the first person in the emerging blockchain industry to negotiate a multi-year, enterprise-grade blockchain-as-a-service contract with a Fortune 100 company and is often tapped as an expert in enterprise blockchain. Currently, Kelly serves on the Advisory Board of EYP Mission Critical Systems.

Kelly has been recognized as an early investor and leading voice in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space. Forbes Magazine hailed her as a “pioneer” and, in 2018, Women On The Block, along with Microsoft, presented Kelly with the Hypergrowth Innovation Leadership Award.

Prior to focusing on blockchain and cryptocurrency, Kelly worked in telecommunications, software development and data center markets around the world, including at MCI WorldCom. She has lived in Europe, Southeast Asia, and Africa.

Kelly has been a guest speaker at Google Cloud Next, the Yale Business School, Columbia University, and King’s College London. She holds an M.B.A. from the University of Warwick Business School specializing in Entrepreneurial Finance.
